I can see PSG being a little bit more cavalier by coming out swinging to try and put the game to bed early. They know if they score first that's us dead and buried. We might get a bit more space to exploit. I know the reverse is true too. We will probably be opened up a few times, hopefully Lindelof, DDG and co. Are able to keep it tight.

I can’t see us keeping them out for 90 minutes. Southampton cut us open fairly handy yesterday at times

Now now its understandable. Its an emotional time being down in second for a few hours

What's with the constant reference to being 'emotional'?

Any word on the sanchez injury ? The crowd sang a lot more yesterday than I remember the last few trips I made over. Good vibes :)

I'll take it if the influx of neutrals is the price of United's resurgence

When you have a whole side of the pitch to exploit it's easy. Both Young and Smalling could and probably should have conceded penalties yesterday from relatively innocuous situations. They are both so far from the standard required it's ridiculous.

Shaw has improved drastically in his defensive duties the last few weeks though so there is some silver lining in the defense I guess.

Never realized this was the Liverpool thread and we could say what we liked and it goes uncensored too...

Hard to see a way back for Sanchez at this point really. The team looked like it works so much better without him in the side. The fact a teenage right back came on and far out did everything he did speaks volumes.

It's sad because I thought we'd see RVP part 2 with Sanchez but he's closer to Gabriel Obertan.

Can only hope there's some way a Chinese club will show interest in the summer and we can all move on.

I don't blame the club for going after him as I think most of us would have thought it would be a good signing but after a year he's just taking up places in the team I'd rather see go to Chong or someone else.

Also you can't pay him 350k a week for what he's delivering. If a Chinese club is willing to pay Fellaini 220k a week then surely Sanchez could make a decent wage out there.

I actually thought it was a utd fan having meltdown at the original comment.

I found that funny, thus thanked the post.

Never really understood peoples obsessions with who thanks what posts

    Anywho..

Great game yesterday, really enjoying watching United again.

Ole aswell is fantastic with the press, says all the right things bout the players, club and fans. Saying the Stretford End will suck the ball in as a nod to the great support

Compare what he says to Moyes, Van Gaal and Mourinho. Just a breath of fresh air

Thanks also to Jayo26 who helped with 'travel arrangements' for the match

Why are you here? It's not to constructively discuss Manchester United in the Manchester United thread clearly. I'll take a yellow for this as I don't post enough to really care, but could you kindly fvck off. You and the others like you. I used to enjoy reading these threads, now there's just a load of passive aggressive or sometimes just plain aggressive shíte being posted. Have a look at yourself mate.

The "Ole's at the wheel" chant is the best one we've had in years and years. So catchy.

Although maybe replace Sanchez with Lingard to spruce it up a little.

    Ole's at the wheel,
Tell me how good does it feel,
We've got Sanchez, Paul Pogba and Fred,
Marcus Rashford is Manc born and bred,
    The Greatest of English football,
    We've won it all,
Du, du, du du, du, du, du du du ...
    (Repeated...)

So we went strong in the first leg and injured two of our best players, but because we managed to get past the mighthy Crystal Palace and Southampton we should have nothing to fear against the team that easily dispatched us 2-0 at home?

    Can’t agree.

Not saying palace or southamlton are mighty, but why would you put out a weakens squad in a cl game.
The injuries were a freak occurance in that we had to use all 3 subs in one half, when does that ever happen?
To go there and field a poor 11 is just laughable

Your hatred doesn't run so deep. Your stupidity is so deep it will effect your kids you clown. Should be neutered. Embarrased you call yourself a supporter. You and your mate.
Look at the likes for this hateful post all

Gives a clear indication of who should be banned from posting here imo

Absolutely bad form and those liking it should be ashamed of themselves

Thought the atmosphere was great myself too. Was sat next to the Southampton fans which made the late winner feel even sweeter.
