Microfibre cleaning detergent

Hi,

It seems the advice is not to wash your microfibre cloths using detergent that has fabric softener.

Does anyone know of any detergent that does not have fabric softener. ?

I would have said that the majority of laundry detergents don't contain fabric softener, eg. Fairy, Ariel, Persil etc.

I'm very new to car detailing, but from my research I've read that you should only use liquid detergent. Undissolved powder could get trapped in the microfibres and lead to scratches/swirls.

Unless it states it on the front of the packaging, no detergent has fabric softener. You can get special microfiber detergent but normal detergent is fine.
