Hi, where would one report a dead cat on the road?

There's one poor kitty around Templelogue Bridge. A lovely looking cat. Definitely was someones pet. Was there last night and still there this morning.

This website allows members of the public to report issues such as potholes, broken lights, broken signage, unsafe parking or obstructions etc for resolution by the relevant local authorities.

Dead cats can be traumatic for people with a special affinity to these graceful and stately creatures.

Kitty deserves a decent send off.

If you can manage it, pick it up yourself, you can use gloves and a bin bag if you need to. Take it to a vet to check for a chip, there won't be a charge.

The first time I took a dead one off the road I used a shovel cos I was scared of touching it. But then I realised it wasn't scary or gross or anything so now I just use some gloves and pick them up. Give them a decent burial if not chipped.
