Lipitor side effects

    Hi all,

I have been on Lipitor now for a little over a year, since then I have found my memory to be very poor. I feel like my brian is foggy and I get very confused throughout the day and a lot more tired that I can’t seem to shift.

I was away over the summer and got sick and had to see a GP in the uk. The doctor was very surprised I was on Lipitor at 35 years of age!

It has got me thinking, I asked my own doctor about the side effects but he dismissed it and said I’m more or less imagining it.

But I am not, it’s hottible I haven’t been myself since!

    Anyone experience similar?

    Thanks

Why did you go on it in the first place?

My GP told me to go on it as I had a bit of a fatty liver and my bloods were a bit off, he wouldn’t actually tell me what my chloresterol reading was just said it was raised and it would be best to go on Lipitor.

You can reverse fatty liver if you tidy up your diet, cut out sugar and fructose in particular as the liver cant deal with it very well , cut back on processed food. I’d be motivated to do just about anything not to be put on a drug for an indefinite period.
