Balls, was still holding out hope that the London gig would happen.
Ozzy has been forced to postpone the entire UK and European leg of his “NO MORE TOURS 2” tour on doctors’ orders.

This follows yesterday’s announcement that OSBOURNE was postponing the first four dates of the tour because of the flu. After seeing his physician again, OSBOURNE has been diagnosed with a severe upper-respiratory infection which the doctor feels could develop into pneumonia given the physicality of the live performances and an extensive travel schedule throughout Europe in harsh winter conditions.

    Statement from Ozzy:
“I’m completely devastated for having to postpone the European leg of my tour. It just seems that since October everything I touch has turned to ****.
First the staph infection in my thumb and now coming down with the flu and bronchitis. I want to apologize to all of my fans who have been so loyal over the years, my band, my crew and to Judas Priest for letting you all down. However, I promise the tour with Judas Priest will be completed. It’s being rescheduled right now to start in September. Again, I apologize to everyone. God Bless. Love you all, Ozzy.”

Priest already said they'd tour with Ozzy on the rearranged dates.

That said, an update would be welcome.
Hell, even just Priest with an opener would be good.

There's a few September dates for UK and Ireland under Judas Priests official page, the Dublin one here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1869507819794310/?ti=cl

Almost definitely placeholders at the moment though I'd say

    Give it up Ozzy

It's time to pack it in. 50 years on the road is enough, he owes the fans nothing at this stage but if he keeps scheduling tours and then cancellling them it's going to damage his legacy I think.

Ya this isn't happening at all. I'll call for a refund tomorrow definitely

I know it's The Sun but I'm taking any good news on offer.

“Ozzy’s a fighter, and is getting better day by day. The worst is over, he’s smiling again, and he can’t wait to get up on stage.”

The heavy metal legend is expected to be released later this week, having spent 11 days under doctors’ orders. He was forced to postpone the entire run of his UK and European tour.

Until he actually recovers, it would prob be bad form to reschedule in case they can't stand over any new date....

I'd say at this rate, they're waiting to see if he'll be well enough for the next leg of the tour in Australia next month before setting anything in stone.

It'll be on between September 30th and October 10th, because I booked my holidays for those dates:)

    From his Twitter.....

Ozzy has announced the cancelation of shows in Australia, New Zealand & Japan. “Ozzy recently developed pneumonia & has spent some time in hospital. He is through the worst part,” says @SharonOsbourne. “His doctors have advised that he stay at home to recuperate for full 6 weeks”

    Time to stop, methinks

Decided to get a refund, I can't be bothered waiting for a gig that is likely to never happen.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,423 ✭✭✭✭Outlaw Pete

Lads, of course Australia, NZ & Japan was going to be cancelled too.

No way was he going to do those shows.

At his age they are going to make damn sure he is recovered and fully recuperated before resuming the tour.... and he will resume it.

If I had a ticket I'd still get a refund though, sure you can always buy another in September.

He needs to actually start it first!

The tour started in April 2018 and ran until October with a NYE show tacked on so the tour has already well started, this is just the latest leg of that tour.
