Do normal recycling centers take motor oil?
I don’t want to give them my catch can .

Pour it into the new oil's empty bottle?

Ballyogan have a big container to take the oil, you pour it in, and you can leave the empty container there, or bring it home, they take cooking oil too, eg. from a deep fat fryer.

Good idea , I’ll do that in case they don’t have a big tank.

    Alright, lads

Could anyone give me a rough estimate of the cost of getting a full bonnet respray? Car is an e60 carbon black. I thought a good compound, machine polish and wax would help with the condition of the paint, it but it seems beyond repair without a respray.

    Cheers.

Very rough estimate of somewhere around the 2-300 mark I reckon

Would it really be that little? I thought a bonnet respray would be more.

Suppose, I'm going off the fact I know a few panel beaters so mates rates and all that. Wouldn't imagine it'd be too much more though.

For an E60 which has a very large bonnet I think 4-500 is more realistic

Cheers, that's more like what I thought.

Thanks for the reply, lads. I was thinking around the 350-400 mark myself. I'll ring around a few places Monday.

Hmm lads, is the new Corolla already available in Ireland. It was dark last night, but pretty sure from front lights it's was New Corolla. The little I sow looked pretty good.

Hatchbacks are in the dealers don't know if they are being sold.

Lovely looking car. Was in looking at that and the Camry the other day at a dealer demo, left handers for some reason, but not on sale yet. The Camry is an absolute beaut of a car too but they're insane if they think it'll sell at the price, even if it's probably worth it vs the market.

Could well be lhd versions that they bring in to show people. Other manufacturers do that these days too.

I was like 99% sure it was New Corolla. The whole front light setup looked like it. Specially when I never sow it before in flesh. It was very dark to see the whole car.

From what I sow on internet, it looks like a very nice car, but I would want to see one in flesh or at least one on road with normal spec and not promo pimped out one.
The only disappoinment is the engine line up. And no 2.0 hybrid in Ireland.

    Update,
yes they took the oil free of charge.
There was no big container there as such buy someone had left a 20L drum there with 5/6L in it so I just poured it in there.

That was the one by Killcunnen

Looks like a Mazda 3 at first glance. Bit of the current model Astra in it too

    Nice looking yoke altogether though!

    .........

Looks very Astra to me :)
For a 191 it's dated as foooook IMO.

Looks awful with those fancy wheels.... A nice set of black steelies, a box of manzize tissues on the rear shelf, Lidl sticker and Padre Poo sticker ×2 would really set her off imo...

Not to mention 'local GAA club' 2019 membership sticker.

I Just got passed on the inside hard shoulder here on the N4 heading east by a Saab 9-3 doing at least 120 mph in old money , I was in the inside lane doing 80 Kmh and barely saw them coming , I moved over to the right to make room and the heavy jeep I was driving rocked from the pass they then went across four lanes and almost into the concrete barrier from the momentum. Either a serious crime committed somewhere west or a very dangerous "company car" haven't had a fright like that in a long long time.

What made it worse was there's a concrete wall an the inside , so nowhere for them to go if they clipped the kerb.
Google image won't paste but it was just after the spa hotel Lucan at the next flyover heading to Dublin
