NOW TV are currently looking for someone to go on a "Box Set Sabbatical" for the entire year. And it comes with a €40,000 salary! Might be an odd one to have on your CV when you're looking for jobs again after this sabbatical, but almost seems worth it!

Not the usual application process. You have to post a video or image on social media and explain why you deserve to win.

Closing date for entry is February 14th. Would you be tempted?

You but what a pickup line. Pretend to be the inspiration for Hugh Grants character in About a Boy!

Irish people/journalists need to read the fine print:
"6. Entrants must currently live in the United Kingdom and be a United Kingdom resident"

This is a promotional competition and not a "job" to put on a CV.

We've done similar at work sending someone on a gap year.

The fact that it's been mentioned here means that it's doing its job.

Well that's the end of that then.

That sounds like heaven to be honest. I'd be as happy as a pig in the proverbial, at least in theory. You'd wonder what the day to day would actually entail - if you read the small print there seems to be a lot of mentions of publicity commitments, obviously the whole thing is a bit of PR for Now TV, you'd wonder what kind of time commitments there would be in reality - perhaps heavy enough. Only open to UK residents though, I would apply otherwise.
