Garda Reciept

I had to produce an NCT cert at my local garda station. I produced it a t a different one closer to work and i got a reciept from the station. However, the garda put my old address (as printed on my licence) on the receipt. Do i need to go back and have it rectified or would that be the cert accepted?

I would imagine you need to produce it at the station you originally said, otherwise how will the Gard know which station you produced it at when he comes to check?

You don't need to go back. Receipt you received will cover it as the member who made the demand can check on PULSE. Don't worry about the address thing...minor detail when it comes to NCT.

If it was, you wouldn't need to nominate a station to the Garda at the checkpoint.

That's due to the legislation not being updated. Long go there was a physical production book but has gone in recent years

Last tmie i had to do this (10+years ago) they recorded it in PULSE...

That would be pointless. Youd just go to that station with your licence and details then instead of goi g to 2 seperate stations.

Edit. Sorry, think I took it up wrong. Thought you were saying to bring the receipt to the other station.
