feel free to add to the list of areas that deserve a halting site

There's already one in Blackrock, just behind the Carroll & Kinsella garage. It's been there for at least a decade, but probably a lot longer.

If she wants anyone to take her any way seriously, she'll have to get a proofreader. Or better still, maybe, get grinds instead of buying sh1t she doesn't desperately need.

My daughter's boyfriend and my other daughter's friend are both dyslexic. I get texts from them them all the time and I only have to read them once to know what they are saying.

The calls of racism aren't working so we have to move onto calling posters something else. When misogyny fails then perhaps we will be accused of being intolerant on the basis of religious beliefs?

Some random guy who wanted to talk to the family and ask if that's what their parents raised them to do. He's better off that he didn't get to speak to them.

Also entitlement culture really shown by the travellers saying that cleaning up the mess was the council's job.

Why aren't the council and government showing cash for what she is.

Anyone on the scratch shouldn't be able to afford her lifestyle and even have a car to be honest.

The amount she spends is unreal.

Hardly on the bread-line when you can afford to pay €600 on a couple of communion outfits and sell them for a third of that 7 months later.

For being on social welfare, the amount she spends on overpriced clothes, shoes, fake designer gear, ornaments etc. If she put that towards rent instead she'd surely have €1K-€1.5K a month for her budget, with that + HAP you could get a decent 4 bed in Tallaght with money to spare..

    Ha brilliant

Margaret has already explained this away

"Margaret also hit out at trolls who suggested that photos of her daughter in her communion dress pointed to a lavish lifestyle.

She explained that the dress was paid off "bit by bit" over many months, and pointed out that she only has one daughter, and you only get to see her little girl in a white dress twice."

Ms Cash rejected criticism that she was irresponsible to have so many children when she could not afford to do so. “I love my kids, I wouldn’t change them for the world or for a home. I don’t care what people say.

“I got some negative responses . It’s hard when you know you haven’t done anything wrong. I’m entitled to live my life, I’m entitled to buy my daughter a communion dress and to go for a few drinks with friends.

I never said I was poor. I said I was homeless. I get benefits the same as everyone else. I just haven’t got enough to get a home.

“I saved hard to get my child that dress. I tried to make people aware of what’s going on in this country,” she added, referring to criticism by some on social media over the cost of her daughter’s First Holy Communion dress.

Of course Margaret's only source of income is from the taxpayer.

Just to leave her latest housing comment again

Also big contrast between paying €600 for a suit for someone to wear at her daughters communion day yet
She stole €321 of clothes from Nutgrove Shopping Centre in Rathfarnham, Dublin on February 17.

But after avoiding jail at Tallaght Court yesterday, Cash said: “I don’t know what the shoplifting has to do with me being homeless, it is my private life.

"I never said I was a saint or anything, far from it.

“None of this has to do with the homeless crisis.

“I feel like I’m being attacked for highlighting the homeless crisis. It’s all about me shoplifting, they are looking for the bad.

The clothes were for the kids. I feel like I am being targeted. It is letting the
    Government off the hook.”

Its time now for the Government to stop paying child benefit in cash, this case is the perfect example of what is going on and the other leeches wont thank Cash for drawing attention to it.

Basically taxpayers who either have no children because they cant afford them until they are well into their thirties or maybe have one child, are paying for the Cash girls communion dress and I presume six hundred euros for the six boys suits, thats the guts of four thousand of taxpayers money going on JUST CLOTHES for this family. Think about that one and then get onto your local TD.

But the difference is she isn't homeless.

She has never not had a roof over her hair.

She was looking to spend €10k on a car and had a caravan where she then also put this up for sale.

She never contributed her part of the rent for the hap scheme and is an even better situation now as when she is given an actual house which will have to be quite big with the football team in tow.

She won't have to pay a cent in rent, bins will be collected( no charge)

Among many other benefits and reliefs for doing shag all but shag.

I'm well aware of M Cash's failings but nothing justifies the misogyny and downright cruelty directed at her in this thread.

The only misogyny that I've seen on the thread was a poster asking if anyone would ride her -- which was rightly called out as inappropriate by a number of other posters.

There hasn't been any "cruelty" on this thread. Margaret Cash turned herself into a public figure with her media appearances, her speeches outside the Dail, and her public social media posts. She gets around €50k a year from the taxpayer to support her irresponsible reproductive choices, having had seven children since she was 16, and now she wants a free house in an area of her choosing as well, at a time when many hardworking taxpayers can afford neither houses nor children of their own.

Margaret Cash lashes out at everyone and everything around her. At one point she was calling for a violent revolution and for Dublin to be burned to the ground. She also went on the radio ranting about how the government was robbing her blind (). It's only natural that these kinds of extremist opinions provoke criticism in response.
