BBC Red Button Channels on Freesat?

A lot of this years snooker is being shown on the red button compared to live BBC 2, Can you still tune in a BBC Red Button channel for extended coverage of the Masters that started tonight on Freesat?

Are there multiple Red Button channels or just the one?

It's Channel 981 and should be there without tuning it in.

The BBC use Red Button 2-6 for Wimbledon/Olympics etc. and are added and removed after their use. They don't use them as much in recent years. As mentioned Red Button 1 is always on 981 on Freesat

Just to clarify for future reference:-
FreeSat is branded software used on branded boxes that offers plug and play setup, auto updating, 'Red Button' etc.

Free-to-Air (FTA) boxes use the exact same signals from the exact same satellites and includes other channels who are unwilling to pay a fee for inclusion in the Freesat software. Currently this includes Channel 4 HD and lots of +1s. FTA does not have a 'Red Button' facility but can tune in the signal as if it was another channel.
