Stupid question, I've forgotten where the ignore button is. Can someone direct me to it?

    EDIT: Nm, found it. Bliss.

These NFL playoffs so far have just made me feel so bad for 1st class defenses. The Bears, Ravens, Texans and now Colts have defenses putting in heroic shifts only to be let down by ****ty offenses.

Any of you construction working types on here know if it's hard to get a garden shed connected up to your electrics so it has power + lights?

Or if I was to ask an electrician to do this during the build phase, is this something they can do without the shed existing yet?

Shouldn't be too hard, but it depends what you want it for, is it just a simple double socket and a light bulb? If so it's generally armoured cable from the breaker (RCB may be needed) to a CU that would be in the shed. Will have to be underground though so will require a trench. Most sparks won't run cables out the garden above ground unless it's a really short run

Ordinary 2.5 squared in heavy gauge hydrodare pipe can be a cheaper alternative to armoured.

If you're looking for cheap heavy gauge hydrodare awec, I've a couple of hundred foot lengths going from when my well pump was replaced. :)

Get it done during works. Won't be a significant cost. Assume it's just lighting and a couple of sockets? Nothing much in it. You can go down to an electrical wholesaler and get materials yourself.

All of this is true. But the Chargers are making it easy for him today.

Lol Chargers in full force tonight.

Pats D is having their best game of the season. Rivers is under constant pressure.

After all of this, we might still have a Superbowl rematch.

    It's destiny.

    The what?

Does the soccer forum still have the invite system? I remember it being discussed for here many moons ago. Is it possible to ignore people from the mobile interface?

You have to go down the bottom and select full site and do it that way.

Have used it plenty of times over the past couple weeks.

They've been excellent on the road all season but haven't turned up today. Difficult to understand.

I know this is sacrilege, but I'd honestly love to see the chiefs stuff the patriots. As much as I hate the chiefs, fúck Tom Brady.

As a Broncos fan, I have to agree.

I would be very fond of seeing this happen. Brady will go bad things to the Chiefs secondary though - Chiefs will need to score on almost every opportunity.

Eagles 2.0 might actually happen. What a start.

You should get an outside power line as standard. You should be able to ask them to run it down to the back of your garden. Ours came out at the top of the lawn when we bought.

Good chuckle listening to Newstalk breakfast this morning. A spokeswoman was speaking about the anti-racism demonstration in Roscommon over the weekend in response to the arson attack in Roosky. She was quite articulate and chattering away, ticking all the boxes that you would expect. I was half listening as I drove. Then at the end she said something along the lines of "We need to get away from this sort of racism that is being fuelled by individuals like Gemma O'Doherty and...."

The presenter nearly choked trying to stop her. "You need to retract that! Retract! Uh, we distance ourselves, uh, we'll leave the interview there!" Cut to commericial break.

I imagine Gemma is speaking to her solicitor this morning.

Actually I think she is dead right to say that and with my loose recollection of defamation standards I think she's fine in what she said.

We aren't going to push back against this wave of populism by hiding from difficult words.
