At least they're giving the talent the week off next week. Should always be the case at Christmas. They deserve it.

    Merry Xmas everyone.

For those who aren’t going to watch raw, the highlights were....

Ronda vs Nattie has a really solid match.
Vince, dressed asSanta, announced the women’s tag titles, Cena’s imminent return and a main event next week of Dolph vs Drew inside a steel cage.
And Lashley vs Elias contained one of the most vicious spots in the history of WWE.

Who was it that used to use the bowling ball spot? Al Snow? Would put the bowling shirt on first.

The tag titles was a strange announcement. Especially after Sasha and Bayley saying on raw recently about being the first champs. And be dual brand anyway.

And baddest b!tch on the planet? Yet gets upset about applying a move in a match.

Paige really stood out at Tribute to the Troops. Very white

I hope the IIconics win the tag belts. Bayley and Sasha are good in the ring but both are shocking on the mic, Bayley especially. Plus I'm so over whatever story they've had, pretty sure it's been over a year of friends/not friends.

I genuinely winced twice in that Lashley Elias match especially that bump lashley took.

Also I thought it being called a miracle on 34th street fight was genius.

RAW NYE edition was taped last night

From reading the results nothing major happened

In fact the whole wwe roster have the first week of Jan off. Vince is getting nicer with age

Did anyone bother with raw?? Ha

Read the results. Nothing of note. The Hunter Seth segment suggests something big for Rollins down the line.

I watched it this morning, was ok tbh. Liked the mini-push for Apollo, he went over big in the battle royale.

Don't understand why they won't put the IC title on someone like him, Ambrose and Rollins etc. don't need the belt to carry a feud.

So Bayley's resolution is to settle for a tag title and not win the Royal Rumble and headline Wrestlemania?

That was the Christmas tour that WWE seem to have done for years and they always run MSG at christmas.

I like the fact they've given the talent the first week of January off. I mean it's a long year and it's going to be as long this new year and they had them working Christmas Day and New Year's Day last year live so it's nice they get to spend Christmas with family and especially the non American wrestlers who seem to have gone home.

    Ugh.

I do get why, cause him and Mene Gene are synonymous.

But I HATE they are going to abuse the memroy of Gene to sneak Hogan back in. “Come on guys, put the racism aside so we can go our Gene, OH HOGANS BACK NOW AND EVERYONES OVER IT, YEAY!”

So Hogan, Cena, Brock and Braun all back on this episode of Raw. They must be hoping for a huge rating.

They're all about the new faces, remember.

How uncomfortable and brilliantly entertaining would it be if Hogan got massively booed.

5 seconds delay and pipe in the cheers!

So how long before Hogan makes a hopefully respectful moment and show about the greatest interviewer in wrestling ever about him ? Ric Flair is still alive and not a **** like hogan, so why not get naitch to talk about his friend. I hope the crowd boo the **** out of Hogan. Hogan did a lot for wrestling in the 1980's and fair enough even I who hates him can't deny that, but at least randy savage was having good matches and putting over up and comers like DDP.

    Nothing there?

I might even try to stay up on tuesday morning to see him get booed live, becaue no doubt on the network version it won't be boos.

Pretty Smart move by WWE, get him to talk about Gene's death and people will be too uncomfortable to boo him anyway.

80's and 90's. His heel turn in WCW helped start a new boom of wrestling.

Hogan also put over The Rock ,Goldberg, the Big Show, Yokozuna, Ultimate Warrior , Billy kidman , Undertaker and Lesner. Yeah he buried people also, arguably should of of lost to Orton at summerslam, but same can be said for every top star. Undertaker buried DDP, Cena buried Nexus etc...

They won't boo Hogan. They cheer Mike Tyson when he turns up and hes a convicted rapist.

    Hogan's return.

I don't think Hogan will get booed. Just the other month we have seen arguably worst episodes of Raw in years, then Vince shows up and gets cheered louder than anybody.
Even throughout the show, after literally nothing changed as promised.
It's easy to have a go at the crowd for reacting like that but for a lot of those fans they probably won't get to see a huge icon like a McMahon or a Hogan again. Say it would be difficult not to just cheer for them regardless of whatever else is going on, storyline wise or in real life.

Super free agent John Cena to open RAW tonight.

Anyone else think the new slimmed down Cena actually doesn't look healthy.

Or is it just that hair cut.

It's the hair for me. It's god awful before he has a match and he looks like a hobo after one.

Better than 1993 chronic pneumonia victim Hulk Hogan.
How did he slim down I wonder??
