N P K value in 2000 gallons of cattle slurry

i am just wondering what would be the n p k value be of 2000 gallons of cattle slurry? always spread 2000 gallons on the silage ground and what would the best manure to spread for silage in the spring and what rate to the acre?

Depends what your feeding etc. Best bet is to take a sample after agitating, obv using precautions, not straight after agitating, getting something to take the sample without reaching in etc.
If you don't want to do that teagasc have estimated figures, not sure what they are.

Thick cattle finishing slurry 1000 gls = 50 kg bag of 5-5-30. Lower the more watery it becomes.

Silage takes all nutrients from a field.
1 tonne dm removes 4 kg P & 30 kg K

First cut requires 20 units P and 100 K, higher for lower index

Every 12 units N require 1 unit S

1000 gls slurry should be returned for every 4 bales made (undiluted). Again maintenance only

so if i spread slurry and two bags of nitrogen to the acre and two bags of cut sward and 2000 gallons of slurry this should be enough? i also spread ground lime in the autumm so should i see much of an improvement to other years with the lime?

Soil sample first would be the cheapest best value action of the year. If you do now before you apply slurry you’d get savage info
