Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
Does anyone know a local taxi man/woman who would taxi 2 people from city to Kill/Boatstrand area. The city taxis are either not interested or are too expensive.
    Thanks

So you want it done for nothing? Could or would you do it?

What are you being charged currently?

According to Transport for Ireland the fare should be 34 to 47 Euro daytime (depending on traffic etc) or at night just above the 50quid mark.

    https://www.transportforireland.ie/taxi/taxi-fare-estimator/

That's the price set, if you want cheaper you may be lucky to get someone who does it off meter for a fare agreed in advance. But they don't have to do that.

What part of this says "nothing"? Struggling to find it now. Likely putting words in their mouth.

Well wasn't that what she was saying ultimately? She got a price and that's a two way journey for the driver and she wasn't happy with it. Highly unlikely that he'll pick up a return fare while he's out there!

What was she expecting to pay?

She wasn't even prepared to make the journey for the people she was so concerned about! Typical Irish mentality. Always want something for nothing!

That's a real asshole answer. A "no I don't know" would have done. Making stupid assumptions.

I'm still waiting to see what the cost was but her silence speaks volumes!
