I doubt it. The powers that be in Semple Stadium, Fizgerald Stadium & the Gaelic Grounds are all not going to sit idly by & let Cork hoover up all the big Munster championship games (in either code,) qualifier games, Super 8 games, or neutral venue games where a big crowd is expected. With 4 stadia in the one province capable of holding 40,000 people, the blazers in Killarney, Limerick & Thurles are going to keep on wanting their own slice of the pie, as they have their own bills to pay. And I don't blame them if they do.

The Clare Wexford quarter final last year was not exactly a resounding success.

It appears obvious from the Cork and Galway situations that the financial controls are still antiquated and simply not fit for purpose in the modern day.

A lack of transparency/accountability and totally inadequate governance structures still appear to be commonplace.More akin to fiefdoms governed by diktat.

Murphy should have been run out of it a long time ago. All that money wasted when they should have been concentrating on youth development.

Same old mistakes with Cork. Liam won't be heading to the Rebel county anyway based on that performance. Myler is a joke. He couldn't pick cherries off a tree never mind picking a good hurling panel. That fella is a pity and we be the ones watching this drivel come championship.

From an outsider what different would you do than what meyler is doing is there other players in cork you'd have brought in other than what he has? Genuine question

Michelle McAleer linked with Cork GAA role

Michelle McAleer, former Head of Finance, Human Resources, and Business Development with the Ulster Council of the GAA, is being strongly linked with a move to a similar role with the Cork GAA.

She has involvement with the Casement Park debacle on her CV?

Yeah, she'll fit in just fine in Cork.

You be one of the lads crying then come championship when Cork are beaten and underperform.

Come on seriously. Are you happy that Cork haven't delivered an Ireland in over 13 years? Are you seriously worried about that fact? Because if you call yourself a Cork hurling fan then I think you wouldn't accept such a gloomy statistic with Cork hurling. This will be the first decade in our history that Cork will fail to win an All Ireland. I think you are happy to accept the state that hurling is in the county because strictly speaking we are miles behind Tipp Clare Limerick and Waterford and we aren't getting better. You can say I am negative but deep down you know Cork hurling is in crisis mode and we aren't getting close enough to the other counties to say that we are genuine contenders. I can say safely we will be out of the championship before semi final stage in 2019 and that's no job well done by all the yes men who believe Cork hurling is in a safe state of affairs. Yes it's January but soon it will be May and then August and CORK still won't be there in the final.

    Take off the blinkers kid.

Aidan Walsh isn't county standard or Pa Cronin. When I heard these two were being brought back I said that's it Cork hurling is finished. Cork GAA is in an awful state. You can mark my words.

Cork County Board wishes to thank Ciarán for his service to Cork football and would like to wish him well in his future endeavours

If only they had the use of the organisations national stadium as their own home ground everything would be grand.
