Cost of Commercial Rental Valuation

Wondering what the fee from a commercial auctioneer for a valuation of annual rental on a retail unit would be. Was quoted 1500 euro once off for the valuation only - thought it seemed a bit steep. Thanks.

That is edging on a bit steep yeah.

There's no money in this though. Maybe 10% of the industry business is in valuations, but 90% of the professional indemnity insurance cost is valuation driven. These guys who prefer not to do the work. They do it to earn on the back end. If there is no follow up work here for the guy, he's always going to charge more if he's smart.
