    Opel's are just pure durt

Opels of that generation must have the cheapest plasticky dashboards known to man. That alone puts me off them, never mind all their other faults.

The old 407 is gone. Sad to see her go!

2.5 tax isn’t the worst either at €1080.

    Opinions on this?
Supposed FSH, factory xenons (rare enough if I’m not mistaken). Years test. Nice color too.
It’s an English motor so the 228km could be 228 miles but if you got a year out of her it wouldn’t be too bad

If I remember correctly those 2 liter Diesel engines are soft enough

What's with the big keypad on the dash?

What's with the big keypad on the dash?

For the rockets and machine guns.

I'm not sure but could it be a phone kit?

I wonder is this the bxe engine? Think that's the dodgy one isn't it.

    BXE is 1.9.

Oil pump and injectors were troublesome in those 2.0 tdi but if it has made it this far I'd say it would be OK. I had two of them and bar an egr valve going in one they were pretty decent save for being very noisy and unrefined.

Ah cool I couldn't honestly remember.

The 170 version also has serious faults. 1.9 I think is the safest bet.

That’s a genuine VW phone keypad.

Is it the oil pump hex shaft one? Seen a couple of cars killed with that one.

So little of those original Kas left on the road, terrible rust killed most of them off.

I suggested a Ka to my niece for her first car.

She said "No, it looks like a tent!"

Beetle for under 500 quid, with about 6 weeks of NCT, but it has 98,000 miles on it now, and had 104,000 in Feb last year when NCT'd!

So, it's either clocked, or they put up around 60,000 miles on it in a year and they mixed up km's and miles :D:D

(OR it should have been 104,000kms when NCT'd last year, still meaning it did about 40,000 miles this year)

I really like that Beetle, even if it's not really bangernomics. If I had a shed, it'd definitely be a car I'd be putting in it.

Same seller has a 06 C180 with FSH, new tyres and new NCT for less money.

Don't know if it's 1 or 2 previous owners though.

The last run of the kent engined fords. Can't believe they survived so long (and I even saw one on CO2 tax...)

Would love to buy that if I had somewhere to store it.

he's doing a major job of hiding the plate too. Lovely interior, but i'd give it a miss.
