Last years semi averages, J Lewis 97.35/Taylor 99.87/Cross 100.97/MVG 102.44---In other words this is topclass!--M Smith 105.22 Aspinall 100.53 at the end

Enjoyable game considering it looked like it would be a blowout. Smith won the first 7 legs and the last 6 legs but some great competitive sets in between.

Smith has really grown on me in the last year, wasn't his biggest fan when he first came on the scene but he's matured a lot..Aspinall seems a nice fella too.

From the first to last dart there was nothing but respect shown from each player towards the other. What a game.
Happy for Michael Smith, really wears his heart on his sleeve. Reminded me of how emotional he got after beating Taylor.

Smith was tipped to be a top player 3/4 years ago and he's come good on the promise he showed.
Made himself a PL regular and now into the final of the Worlds. Hats off to him.

Hope the occasion doesn't get to Michael tomorrow. It'll help if he's playing Gary due to the bad memories of playing Van Gerwen and the fact Gary's been like a father to him in his darts career.
