    Salah's pass was intercepted by Lichtsteiner who kicked the ball towards Mustafii. Ball bounced of Mustafi before Firmino did his job.

    I have Salah, but let's be honest. The ball bounced off two opposing players before Firmino gets it.

    Just because they made mistakes before doesn't mean they will be awarding silly assists every time.

    I don't disagree for a second. Did you see McArthur get an assist less than a week ago, when it was John Stones who the poked the ball to Schlupps for a Palace goal? Or Lacazette get an assist a few days ago when once again the defender toe poked the ball for he final pass.

    Zero consistency. In the context of what has happened this season it's a farce that Salah and possibly Mane haven't been given assists.

    If you don't like it, pack up and leave. Wasn't that your response a few days ago when McArthur got points awarded for a totally non existent assist.

    The lack of consistency in the game is making it comical at times now. Love this game, been at it for years, but stuff like this gives it little creditability. These really aren't tough decisions to get right tbf.

    It was never a Salah assist , it'll be funny people in Twitter telling them why it was though

    Gotta agree and also the price change black magic. They should state the logic. The weird sh!te that went on previously with Salah not dropping etc

    Not sure if it is but it should be based off opta stats.

    You are talking about two toe poke challenges by defenders. Completely different situations to what just happened with Salah. 3 players touched the ball before it went into the net after Salahs last touch with one touch kicking the ball in the entirely opposite direction.

    A farce? G'way out of that!

    I know it's just a game. I've played it for years as I've stated, and I enjoy it a lot. The enjoyment gets less and less though looking at some of the terrible decisions being made regards points being awarded.

    As I've said these are not tough decisions. If you're going to consistently award comical assists to the likes of McArthur and Lacazette (those are 2 just in the last week, there have been loads more all season), then you need to award comical assists to the likes of Salah and Mane today for those 1st and 2nd Liverpool goals.

    Consistency in awarding of points. That's all that anyone can ask for. It really shouldn't be hard to get such decisions right with the benefit of replays. I genuinely don't think that's much to ask for.

    Anyway, I'll leave it there and get back to the game. No doubt there will be countless more of these by the seasons end though. Be interesting to see people's thoughts on such things if it costs them a league or a cup on the final day though :-)
