    The Bushwhackers

The brawls in back area used to be class! The 24/7 hardcore championship on the line anywhere anything worked brilliantly at the time to.

I remember a segment with Austin beating the **** out of Booker T in a supermarket!

Embarrassed to even remember this, but, ... the Undertaker!

Eh, John Cena and Triple H, the latter because it was when DX reunited and my much younger self thought poop was hilarious. Nowadays I'm just wondering how horrified the crowd must have been during all those poop stunts.

On the other hand, I despised Edge. He was just a consummate dick.

    The Ultimate Warrior.

I grew up watching it in the late 90s/early 00s, absolute loved the hardcore matches. Loved the craziness of Mick Foley. Favourite was Rey Mysterio

The Ultimate Warrior was my favorite by a mile. Used to always get my face painted like his whenever there was a face painter around for kids.

The Hitman of course because of his cool sunglasses.

Mr. Perfect had my favorite intro music.

Koko B. Ware - no idea about him, but just loved the name when lads in my class mentioned him.

Big Daddy hands down, there was also Cry Baby Brakes (murdered his partner so off the list) & Mick McManus, great times.

The villain was always Kendo Nagasaki, as a 9 / 10 year old he’d frighten the bejasus outa ya!

Just googled him there, very interesting chap, came out as Bi after his wrestling career ended, committed Buddhist, heavily involved in a charity called the Lee Rigby Foundation. He has even donated part of his estate to be used as a respite home for injured service men, their familys & victims of crime. Worth a read for you wrestling followers.

    1# Austin hands down.

    2#
I used tell everyone I did not like this man(Not true a dark secret) with a passion as a young lad. Him being the villian/Bad guy and his cheesy character. But the man was a legend in the ring.

The showstopper, the icon, the main event Mr.Monday night.... Whos your daddy Montreal 🀣..

Yours truly The heart break kid Shawn Michaels.

3# Classic Taker or The Hitman.

God its pure trash now the wrestling died for me in the 00s.

Stacey Kiebler always made the wrestling worth tuning in for.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

    Kurt angle, my Olympic hero.

I can't believe the lack of respect on here, you people sicken me.

The man won two Olympic gold medals with a broken frikken neck!

Seriously though, the man was an amazing wrestler and amazing on the mic.

He could probably still put forward a convincing argument that he is actually undefeated.

Seriously lads, he was a great comic achievement.

Undertaker was always no1 for me. Wrestling was amazing back in the day when stone cold and the rock were fueding with the McMahons, triple h and Stephanie made great badies and the fueds were well written, much better than any of the soaps

I used to love WWF but we never had money for satellite TV so I had to get some cousins who were richer than me to record it on tape! Great days.

Always important to remember to set the VCR to ‘Long Play’ to make sure you caught the whole event! :) Great times indeed. I think the storyline which really captured the hearts and minds of the watching public and served as a fine commentary for the time...

...was when a 75 year old Mae Young had an interracial relationship with a huge black man and gave birth to a gelatinated hand.

Parents banned us from watching wrestling as we were always trying moved out on each other. Didn't have sky so used to record wcw in the middle of the night on utv.
My favourite was sting and fabulous freebirds. One brother favourite was ric flair and other was lex Lugar. Takes me back thinking of it...

Rowdy Roddy Piper. And the fella with the 2 x 4 lump of timber.

I grew up watching Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks, and then onto the American stuff. The Ultimate Warrior etc. Hulk Hogan was a big favourite. He would have the heart and soul kicked out of him, have an epileptic fit and rip his t shirt off and turn around and lump his opponent out of it.

That was until it dawned on me that it was all rigged. I literally stopped watching it overnight.:pac:

    Getting flash backs now.

Remember the APA? They had a door no walls and a table as an office, with beer and playing poker. Classic stuff...

When WCW went it killed it.

When I was younger it was Hulk Hogan but later loved Mr Perfect even though he was a heel. I felt like I was doing something wrong by liking a baddie but him and Heenan were brilliant together.

I got back into it around 2000. Kurt Angle was by far the best wrestler and could get a match out of anyone. But for pure entertainment, you just couldn’t beat The Rock. His promos were absolutely unreal. Oozed charisma and could work a crowd like very few other people on the planet.

Haven’t watched it in a long long time now though.

Chris Benoit, Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio.

Thought Triple H and Shawn Michaels together as DX was cool too.

When I was a kid, Randy Savage. He's still my all-time favourite. As a late teen of course it was Austin, Rock, HHH and Benoit.
