Binged watched Sunderland Til I Die over the last 2 days. Very interesting. If that is the goings on behind the scenes at a 'smallish' club, it must be crazy logistics at the top Premier League teams.

Yeah finished that today myself and thought it was a good watch. The fact it was such a disaster of season probably contributed to how interesting it was. I might watch the Man City docu on amazon now to contrast.

    You was added today aswell.

A clever bookstore manager relies on his savvy Internet know-how to make the woman of his dreams fall in love with him.

Been looking forward to this one for a while, gets good ratings. Half way through the first episode and it looks promising.

Is this what happened to Dennis Reynolds when he has left its always sunny

Just finished Godless. First time in a while that I got into something that I really binge watched and couldn't wait to get to the next episode. Well worth viewing.

Narcos Mexico was the best by a mile and the best of the series too. I'm surprised that it's gone somewhat under the radar.

Sinner and Ozark both had weak enough but watchable returns after great first seasons. I'm looking forward to Mindhunter coming back next year.

I don't feel at home in this world any more was a really enjoyable film.

The Expanse, Fargo, The Punisher and Dirk Gently were series I loved, and would watch several episodes at a time.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

A word of warning when watching the new black mirror , the multiple story lines does not work on all formats

Just finished (?) watching Bandersnatch, and thought it was a good Black Mirror entry as well as an impressive application of the "interactive film" idea (a format that, frankly, I'm not entirely keen on - I don't tend to find videogames very good at imitating the strengths of narrative fiction, nor vice versa). The performances were uniformly good, the presentation is robust and the writing, crucially, is strong enough to both justify and make clever use of the possibilities of the format.

Since the comparisons are inevitable, I will throw out the two games this made me think of, albeit in spoiler tags:
    Superhot and The Stanley Parable
. Frankly, there are far worse things to draw inspiration from.

I quite like the implementation of the interactive element, as well as
the implementation of both the do-over sections and the "continue?/try again?" type options at the endpoints
. I have watched several variations of specific aspects, but don't think I'd be arsed going back to the start and trying to chart through each possible decision tree to see the repercussions. Though I have no doubt some faneditor is already busy capturing every possible scene and decision point to assemble into an enormous "Complete Cut" version...

It’s very hard to make an interactive movie with the same narrative focus as a non interactive movie, as some paths will not be as consistent as others. Despite that I’m enjoying it so far.

Im going to watch it later but if you by chance pick the option that is the ending is there any point watching the rest ?

There is no "proper" ending, just different ones.

My favorites of 2018, in no particular order:

    Maniac
    El Marginal (both seasons)
    Bad Blood
    The Kominsky method
    Better Call Saul s4
    Black Mirror s2
    Godless
    Manhunt Unabomber

Thanks to contributors here for helping me filter through the over-hyped rubbish to find some gems

I thought Bad Blood was dreadful, the acting was actually shocking at times.

I only managed to get to 2nd episode.

Yes after the credits it replays your choices

Watched about 7 minutes of the first episode of The Fix and was ready to kill myself.

Does Katherine Ryan have something on Jimmy Carr that's why she keeps getting work especially on his panel shows.

Did Jimmy #MeToo her? Now that is the reason we all have to suffer as well.

Seen her on the chase, I think she managed 1 correct answer and was completely unfunny throughout

Couldn’t watch much more than that myself. Can’t stand Katherine Ryan anyway but the other woman was worse
