Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Purchased this last year at a bargain price of €113 ,couldn't resist at the price. Done a lot of looking and researching but had to jump when I saw the price. I would have no problem buying at €212
    Great machine.

    Thanks for your reply!

It's a bit overwhelming trying to pick one.

Does anyone know if having one with a wand would create hotter coffees than the built in milk frother ones?

The biggest complaint I have read about numerous ones is that the coffee isn't quite hot enough.
I presume using a wand and heating the milk more would help make it more hot.

Gaggia Classic 2018 €249, Home Coffee Machines. Tank. Very popular. Basic but well proven machine. Have had one for about 3/4 years now, never let me down. Milk drinks, no probs.

Looked at that but it doesn't have the three way solenoid valve. Well not since 2015. While it may be solid I'm not sure it's a patch on the pre2015 model. Gaggia have launched the 2019 model with a return to the old spec. I might wait for this to arrive.

I'd love to here how it compares to the more expensive Rancilio silva.
