Removing deoderant dark patch stain from under arms of shirt

Anyone got any suggestion for how to remove what looks like deoderant stains (dark partch)from the under arms of a shirt

Shirt isnt white or black - its blue...it good quality expensive shirt

Washing it at 60 degrees doesnt remove it

Anyone got any tips ?

What I was told to do was to turn the shirts inside out and then spray a water and white vinegar mix onto the underarm before washing. Has worked for me in the past.

Get citric acid (you can get it in Mr Price) mix one box with 5 litres of water, soak the garment in the solution for 24-48 hours, once or twice agitate the stain lightly with a soft brush- you will find that the white stain softens and eventually is soft enough to was out.

Make sure you soak it long enough,once I didn't leave it long enough and the white stain just spread around the t-shirt in the wash and I had to repeat the process.
