Petit jeans vs regular jeans(Need to know for Christmas ordering)

    Hi!
    I'm very unsure about this being a guy.
    I'm planning on ordering my mother a pair of jeans for Christmas.
    I know her regular size/etc and what she likes. However I can only really find her size/what she likes/with in my budget in petit jeans.
    She'd normally be a size 14S.
    I read some where it was just length that was different but others it said waist was also different.
    What is the difference?(Sorry for the confusing post)

    It depends on the brand unfortunately!

    Some will have a shorter leg just, some will have modified waist too.

    What brand are you looking at?
