It's a very WCW move to be honest, pity Scott Steiner wasn't delivering it.

I saw this tweet more than once last night I imagine for a reason.

I know it's WWE so logic is out the window, but I was wondering the past few weeks why a heel GM was putting a heel tag team in a handicap match against a face team with the Lucha House Rules. Then having Lio go against Elias.

Expected Strowman to help Seth win. Think that's the first TLC match or ladder match where we had a ref inside the ring. And if the ref was knocked out, who called for the bell when Seth got the title?

Calling out all the stupid calls they've made is another stupid call. I'll admit I don't mind Corbin as GM. At least he seems more natural than Angle. And while Seth is blaming him, we know it's the writers and above. Then they bring up Lesnar again. If they keep using that line as something they know viewers are fed up with, then why not fix that problem?
Forget the Chewbacca Defence. Just call it the WWE Booking Defence.

Oh and yet another change to a MMC team with Crews replacing Finn. Can't be many original teams left at this point.
Speaking of Crews, him throwing Sasha looked like he could be getting a call to HR.

And yeah, that guitar ladder match is strange. Especially when they say the first one to get the guitar can use it. Not only because the match should end, but how often in the "On a pole match" where it's the same rule, does the other guy use the weapon?

Oh and then there's the Nattie match. They're on about poor ratings and then they once again go for the bad taste move of bringing a death or illness into it.

WWE Raw ratings hit another record low
Raw dropped another four percent off of last week's modern-era record low, with just a 2.19 million viewer average last night.

They need Roman back, maybe Vince was right all along :pac:

There's just zero entertainment anymore. Think I'll just watch Raw from the start of the attitude era weekly now

Due to their over reliance on 1 or 2 guys, along with an absentee champ and their refusal to push anyone else, when their main guys get injured they just go into a holding pattern.

Can't have a hattrick of record lows I guess...

    Or can they?

    He’ll pop it a bit.

Roster shake up? Could do with it tbh.

Would love to see Finn moved to Smackdown.

Can't wait to see him stumble through his words, mention how rich he is despite falling ratings & that no matter what happens it won't matter the next week.

Any time ratings are low, Vince appears, boosts the rating that night and he's gone again, along with the boost in ratings, but apart from his music and walk to the ring, there is nothing Vince can do anymore to interest me, he's over 70 and there is no Austin or Rock level type character he can interact with, that will the bring the best out of him and them.

A segment with Rollins is what i expect will happen, but have no real high expectation of how good it might be, hopefully im proved wrong

Even Prime Vince would struggle to get a ratings boost for this crap.

With the way they're going, how can they use Dynamite Kid's death in bad taste?

Just looking at the TLC matches, trying to figure out how they can use a match there to get people to tune into Raw, but can't see any big turns happening.
Corbin loses so people tune in to see who the new GM will be?

Of course he’ll announce it while sticking strictly to a script and delivering it awfully.

I don't think that's the magic touch to suddenly give the likes of Langley, Balor or the Revival a personality. Look what Elias manages despite being below average in-ring.
Another issue is discussed here briefly by Lance Storm of babyfaces being booked like losers

Who knows though? With scripted promos we never would've had the Rock, Austin etc.

Randy Orton came through when they started bringing in scripted promos and hes been the same character for 15 years. As have all the top guys. Roman, Ambrose, Rollins, Strowman etc. Theres no progression and no one can put the their own personality into their characters.

According to Mike Johnson the general impression is that Vince will
announce a draft tomorrow night on Raw, I assume that will signal a lot of NXT callups as really too much talent is down there for too long imo.

Russo would make a better go at it these days than whoever is writing sh1t at the moment.

They need to end the 50/50 booking and actually put guys in positions on the card

Protect guys like they used to do before

It would be typical WWE if their way to get people to watch was to, when they tune in tonight, tell them to tune in next week, thus not rewarding them for turning in this week.

That is absolutely what will happen. Vince generally turns up to announce something will happen next week.

I would think there'll just be a few matches for the 24th and then be a review show. If they think the crowd will have any life in them after the first episode, never mind 2 hours into the second then they're very deluded.

Announcing a draft would be smart as having Charlotte and Becky on a separate roster to Ronda is limiting interactions leading up to WM. Moving Sasha Banks and Bailey to SD would give them something to do. I’d even send Alexa with them.

Having Ronda, Becky, Charlotte, and Nia involved in a bitter “every woman for themselves” feud leading up to RR and then WM would be good. Although I’d worry it’ll be Becky v Nia and Ronda v Charlotte at WM.

Actually why don’t they just end the brand split partially and just create a situation where everyone bar the champions can work on either show.

For practical reasons wrestlers would stay on one show due to their current feuds but they can move show when needed to feud with others.
I’ve never liked the brand split as it seems to limit possibility instead of improving it. It is good to have more belts though.

They also need women’s tag belts on each show but with such small rosters they would run out of fresh matches quickly if non-champions can’t go between shows.

Ending the brand split would be a distaster.

They already struggle to get and use everyone when there's two rosters.
