Truly a paramount issue for the parliament...

When did we start heeding the words of the village idiot(s)? Social media and its echo chambering effects, and people are constantly listening... Christ.

When you have clowns like Roe McDermott allowed on the media in such an absolute rage with everything in life that she's (can I call her she without offending?) willing to get in to an argument with her own shadow over her choice of clothing you know the planet is fooked.

What if the gingerbread man identifies as a kimberley or chocolate finger. Though chocolate fingers are probably offensive to amputees. The world is gone mad.

I agree. I was watching the BBC during the week and they went out to Theresa May's constituency and interviewed a white English middle class married couple in the local Conservative club's social rooms. Really weird to include such odd sorts in a broadcast about modern Britain...

Typical of the Scottish parliament. The next referendum in Scotland should not be about independence, it should be about dissolving that waste of money.

I am 99% sure the SNP think 1984 is an instruction manual not a novel.

Eh.. The bit on the BBC was about the views of Mays local Conservative club. Should she stay or go.

It would be a bit silly for them to ask the same question in the local Labour club.

You lend them their 'authority'. Take it back when they then seek to abuse it. Ignore this garbage and plow your own furrow

The reports mention that it’s not known who ordered this - or in other words it wasn’t ordered and a single member of catering staff who wrote the label happened to use the word person, and the hyper right wing newspapers jumped on it.

But I don’t know when this PC nonsense will end, it does get tiresome how offended all these snowflakes get over every imagined piece of political correctness that they see.

The most ridiculous one recently was Paul Murphy wanting the words “pregnant woman” replaced by the word “pregnant person” in the abortion legislation.

This 'PC nonsense' will continue until tablets and phones are able to run excel and Photoshop to an acceptable standard.

I'm ginger, I'm not offended. Work away gentle people.

Shouldn't the plant be offended at people with orange hair appropriating its name?

The word banned gets bandied about far too easily. Especially by the tabloids.

Avoid the hassle and use snow cubes. Build them up into a large sphere then smooth off the edges. ;)
