Then again it's entirely possible he is still around just that it's an easier sell for Margaret as a 'single' mother

The best thing for the country would be if that man was spayed.

How come he's McCarthy and she's Cash?

Also, he's 33, so 5 years older than her.

That implies he was 20 when he married a 15-year-old. Classy.

well she is Mrs McCarthy but yet he is described as her partner not her husband

Name change was handy when using the 'single' homeless mother of seven angle

    http://www.echo.ie/tallaght/article/no-solution-in-sight-with-ongoing-homeless-crisis

Funny they 'overholded' on this property in 2015

That surely must go against them when they were 'looking' for private rented accommodation

She's a card isn't she ? Money coming in that a salaried person would need to earn 84k a year for and she's being "robbed".

You could not make it up!

Jesus Christ Chimpanzees can be thought how to use sign language.
Koko the Gorilla who died this year could sign.

Koko has been filmed delivering a message to the humans of the world, encouraging them to become more conscious of their responsibility to protect the planet.

Now look at the fooken mess above gibberish does not even begin to cover it.

    How is that surprising?

The overwhelming majority of both the political and media class espouses a left wing redistributive philosophy where those who don't work can and should have what the tax paying stiffs make do with.

Which 'left wing' government was that?

I know a number of tax payers, myself included, who believe the government, gubmint or whom ever are only in if for themselves and line the pockets of friends and backers with the public coming a poor second or third. You don't need to be on the make or a criminal to have that view, but I suppose it's easier to dismiss the opinions of such folk.

All of them. Every last one.

You are complaining about FF/FG policy and blaming politicians and parties that were never in government.
You can follow up with, 'sure they'd be worse' and they might very well be, but get your whinging aimed at the right people.

What did you expect her to do?
As she explained secondary school forces you down the route of drink and drugs.
She will have to remove her cilders from school when they reach 12 years old, it's an awful predicament to be in.

Can't be taking after the father of her 7 children either

    Interesting quote from that article:
“It’s causing us awful stress. We know we are not the only ones looking for a place but they do have housing. Where will we go with six children ? They’re not giving us any hope.”

So they were, by their own admission, homeless and stressed-out with six children -- and yet Margaret went on to get pregnant again and have another child.

    What's the thought process here?

If you can't cope with six children, you're going to cope even less well with seven.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,100 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

Not sure there was a thought process

Most people would have taken stock of their situation

Then again everybody else has already paid for her, the husband and six kids to that point so why not one more?

Or as Margaret put it before. It just happens, what can you do?

You're piggy backing off another poster. If you are continuing that line, FF/FG are not left IMO. Either way, anyone with issues on who gets state aid, how much and how long, needs to look at FF/FG.

Any allowances should be capped at two kids. You can have as many as you like, the state will assist with the first two and only if you can prove you need it through no fault of your own, can't work etc.

That is further right than Nigel Farage or the Le Pens.

No wonder you are so angry at Leo and Eoghan for selling out and giving in to the Left.

Her argument there was that six of her seven children are boys, and she couldn't put them all in the same room to give the girl a room of her own. Somewhat valid point, but does not excuse her attitude.

I don’t think that it’s her argument. It’s council rules regarding overcrowded.

Sure look, it probably doesn't really matter at this stage.
