As much as I like to have a dig at Liverpool, I was delighted they got that goal in the end. Everton showed no ambition, time wasting at 0-0 and so forth. A small club mentality. Liverpool were not great but they actually tried to win the game and that should always pay off

Alisson again with a number of key saves that kept us in the game.

That's why you pay £65m for a keeper.

he's top notch.... so glad we have him.... last season we would have been a couple of goals down in multiple games and prob drawing games

Klopp running onto the pitch has to be the highlight of the season so far

I'm confused, that seems like a positive thing, but it's coming from you so I'm not sure, lol!

Was ok. But got completely done in the build up to the everton chance where it was cleared off the line.

I thought Fab did grand he got through a tough derby game without any shockers and again showed signs of what he will offer when he gets a run of games under his belt.

The partnership with Gini seems to work well.

Gini did a lot of the donkey water carrying work today.

Interesting - shows that not just the ball was never out of play but Pickford is entirely to blame for keeping it in - have to feel for him, briefly, very, but at least there can't be any moaning about the validity of the goal...

Were you actually watching the game? Everton had plenty of chances today and we needed some good saves from Allison and a goal line clearance from Gomez to keep them out.

Did anyone actually think the ball went out?

I thought it was pretty obvious it never went out and Pickford actually kept it in play.

Not going to lie, once it was given I was kinda hoping it had.

I did - when I saw the net moving before the ball bounced off the bar and fell for the header, I figured it was out. So very, very glad to be wrong...

Maybe try a different sport Richard... That's the most ridiculous viewpoint to take in light of that game today.

    Showed no ambition?

    Good Lord

Oh it's positive alright but just to get back to normality, if that calamity didn't happen we draw that game and would now be 5 points off city, we simply can't and won't keep getting away with performances like today, it was poor stuff yet again today, performances need to improve and we all know that

Is the ‘First if you don’t include City’ title a thing this year?

Cos it looks like there’s going to be new champions crowned if it is and we could be in with a shout.

Is that some sort of alternative table that was used last year ??

Fab did OK today, just OK. Started well and looked sharp, used the ball well and tackled well. However, he was done a few times, notably by gomes in the build up to one of the chances. Everton at times got at the back 4 easy enough, which is a poor reflection on Fab and Gigi. Tired badly though, looked out on his feet in the last 15,and I was sure he was going to be taken off instead of Shaq.

Great to get the win. Another 2 pts our keeper has won us. We would be atleast 6 pts worse off without him.

We'd be 4 behind but don't let maths get in the way.

I'm still laughing and will be for days. I think the sweetest part is it was Everton's own fault...they must have wasted at least 3 of the four added on minutes. And throwing blue flares to celebrate a draw?? Hilarious.
