Not sure if this is right forum but couldn't find a smart tv one. I have a Smart TV and only have Saorview and Netflix which am happy with. However I do want a recording function-can anyone recommend a USB with which to do this? Would a 128gb suffice? Should I be looking for certain specifications? Thanks!

It depends on how much you want to record.
For HD recording 3 to 4 GB per hour.
SD recording 1 to 1.5 GB per hour.

One nice feature of having a USB is being able to pause and rewind the TV :)

Most TV's won't allow you to tune in to anything else while recording.
Many won't let you watch another source while recording.
