    Im now considering a - 8;

    In: sané, sterling, schindler

    Out: richarlison, hazard, Robertson

    Is that crazy?

-4 the following week to bring in kane and Button for aguero and hart would leave me with:

    Fabianski, Button
Alonso, Doherty, digne, schindler, wan b
    Salah, sterling, sané, kenedy, obiang
    Kane, arnie, Murray

A team i would be very happy with for the next 8 gws, possibly replacing Murray with mitrovic in a couple weeks.
-12 to get rid of 4 players (well maybe 3 depending on when you got hazard to be fair) who are performing very well?
I think you already know the answer yourself........

    Yes.

Tempted to do PEA/Hazard to Kane/Sane.

Depends on Hazard playing but no solid news still

I realise it seems crazy, but I'm viewing it as a long term move.

Do sterling, sane, kane and schindler outscore hazard, richarlison, aguero and Robertson over the next 8? I would say almost certainly.

Do they outscore them by more than 12? I think so.

I also think kane and schindler are nailed on for the xmas period and would expect sterling to only miss 1 or 2 games. Sané could be a risk but it seems that he is a lot more nailed when mendy is out. There's always going to be rotation with city but they're both scoring so well that the odd 0/1 pointer is absorbable. City are even better this season than they were last season, i think going one more gw without sterling would be foolish. he's the top scorer in the game by 8 points despite missing two games; he has 12 more points than any other attacking player.

Hazard and aguero are going to miss games in December, without doubt, and they both have question marks hanging over them. When morata plays, hazard doesn't score well, and morata is currently first choice. Aguero has struggled on the road this season. Richarlison and Robertson have difficult fixtures and I'd expect Robertson to miss one or both of Burnley/Newcastle. Klopp has already spoken about him being tired and they now have a huge game coming up against napoli. Id expect to see a lot of rotation from pool in the next 3 gws.

Finally, one of the - 4s is to swap hart for button, freeing up 0.5. Its hard to quantify, but having that extra 0.5 to use in the coming months adds some value to my squad which could result in a >4 point return.

Its a risky move for sure, hazard and aguero definitely have the potential to punish you in fpl. I'll need to decide tonight as sterling is going up, at the moment im leaning towards doing it, but the feedback here has me rethinking. I've been toying with a lot of options this gw, i feel its going to be an important decision for the season.

I had been flirting with the idea of:
    Salah out, Sterling In

    Then for midweek games
    Hazard Out, Salah In.

All just to keep Hazard for the Fulham Game.
I feared that he mught not get many minutes or be rested so Ive ended up just going with

    Hazard out, Sterling In.

Now so i can limit the possible damage Sterling can do me with my rivals owning him.

I can now try to sort out one of the other 493002 problema in my team for next midweek :D

Despite contemplating a multi-hit get-all-the-Man-City-midfielders approach all week, I might just cool my jets and do Ings to Jiminez instead.

Would leave me with a slightly underwhelming front 8 of:

    Milner | Salah | Hazard | Fraser | Richarlison

    Jiminez | Arnie | Agueroooooooooooo

Milner was a major mis-step last week ....he was basically a make-weight to get Kun in

    here's team

    Ryan
    TAA Alonso AWB
    Richar Salah Martial Sterling Hazard
    Murray Wilson

    Hamer Ings Bennett Dunk

Cost me -8 to bring in Richarlinson but considering dumping him for Paterson freeing up money for Ings to Arnautovic for a -4

Richarlinson has 2 home fixtures to come and anything can happen in a Merseyside derby. Want to get Arni in shortly but next week would see the 2 transfers in playing each other. Should I bank for this week?

    I'd bank.

Gonna play boring transfer just so I don't lose it. Getting rid of Begovic , is Fabianski the best option based on fixtures between here & NY?

Wildcard time two options I'm sitting atm

    Fab and button GK
    AWB TAA Schindler Doherty DEF
Sterling Ali Mane Brooks Kayal MID
    Kun Arnautovic Morara FWD

    Option 2
    Fab for Ederson in GK
Martial for Ali and Mane for Salah in Mid
Morata for Rondon up Front (leaves. 02)

    Any views?

Trying to decide between Hart and Fabianski this week.

    Somebody choose for me.

i think if it's at all possible, managers should bank.

shít is about to get hectic, and i'd prefer the info of who plays this GW to inform me for the midweek games, than the pure guesswork this GW is in terms of a lot of teams.

Hart. Palace’s home goalscoring record has been atrocious.

Now my question. Aguero, is it worth a 4 point hit to transfer him in for Firmino this week, only to transfer him onto Kane midweek.

Put another way, is Aguero at home to Bournemouth worth 4 points more than Firmino at home to Everton.

My feeling is that I’d still captain Sterling regardless of what I did but Aguero would make vice captain if I brought him in.

If you're making a keeper transfer for the sake of it, I'd get Button at 4.0.

    Really can't make my mind up on the City midfield at the moment as I'm currently without any, thinking of the possible 3 options below;

    1) Bank (with looking at potentially doing Haz/Aguero to Sterling/Kane after this week)
    2) Upgrade Ryan Fraser to Bilva
    3) Do Fraser/Robertson or Alonso to Sane/Schindler for a -4 this week

    Current team is
    Ryan,
    Alonso, Robertson, AWB, Digne, Bennett
    Salah, Hazard, Ricky, Fraser, Hojlberg
    Aguero, Wilson, Arnie

If I was sure Haz was going to start I think I'd be happy to hold fire and captain him but not sure with this injury, any help/advise much appreciated!

Based on form and how deep he is playing, why is everyone looking at getting Kane in now?

He's playing very deep, he's not scoring goals as easily/frequently as he should be for his price tag.

I'd probably keep Begovic and get Button as my second choice in your situation.

I'm assuming you have 2 FTs and have no pressing transfer to make!

the first choice 3 behind him of Eriksen, Alli and Son is back.

it should give him more licence to get in the positions he's used to. he was getting there last Saturday, while still not quite where he should be as often as we're used to.

Are we sure Button is 2nd choice keeper, he was back fit last week and not on the bench, himself and Steele both joined in the Summer, so just curious as to why folk now think Button is 2nd Choice, ala first choice come January.

    Reid out.
    Zaha in.

Hazard & Kun to Sterling & PEA

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,234 ✭✭✭✭normanoffside

Hazard & Kun to Sterling & PEA

Pea is at home to Spurs this week. Kun is at home to Bournemouth.
Hazard is at home to Fulham and Sterling might not play.

These may be good moves in the short to medium term but neither make sense this weekend IMO.

I do see where you're coming from, but:

Hazard might not play, Sterling is home to Bournemouth

Kun to PEA to free up a city place (already have Dilva & Ederson)

Have been in 2 minds on this for last few days (basically my thoughts above vs yours ) but have pressed button now so will have to live with it

It makes a lot more sense in that context.

I had the "pleasure" of watching Jason Steele week in, week out last season.

Trust me when I say that Steele getting a move to a Premier League club, even as 3rd choice, is the strangest move I have seen in a long time and IMO surely just a favour/backhander to an agent.

If Brighton only had 3 goalkeepers, then Steele should still be 4th choice!

Worst case scenario Steele plays the first game during Ryan's absence, everyone laughs, I say "I told you all", and Button slots in the following week.

I’m lead to zinc it’ll be easier score on him than in coppers so long as they have the metal capacity, ore in ferrous they aren’t too rusty
