    Hi,
Have a pipe stat in hot press that turns on the circulation pumps to send the hot water around the house, using a grant 50/70 boiler and Stanley Tara back boiler stove,
Wondering what would the optimal temp setting for the pipe stat be?
    Cheers!

I assume you mean the pipe stat is on the hot flow from the stove? If yes then it should be as close as physically possible to the stove
Should be set in the 55-60 range in general. To hot and the stove will boil the water before the 55 degrees hits the stat and turns on the pump, to low and I heard it sweats the stove which is not good either

If we light a better then will have to turn down the stat to bring on the pump and circulate the water, as soon as it starts to flow can turn it up again. Obviously the hotter the stat the warmer the water and rads so you might need to play around to find the optimal number in your set up
