Neff Semi-Integrated Dishwasher, acting dead

Hi, my Neff dishwasher Model s41m50s0gb is acting dead. There is power to the main circuit board. The service agent wants to change the main circuit board at a cost of €300, which is probably ore than its worth.

I’m not convinced it’s the circuit board, it started running intermittently before it stopped altogether. I also found an object lodged in the pump.

Any suggestions, or even a direction towards a wiring diagram. It’s pretty easy to reach all the components, and I have a decent multimeter, for faultfinding. However, without a diagram I’m not sure where to start. (I have checked for obvious blockages and all the connectors.)

If there is power to the pcb the engineer is correct, if you are confident remove the pcb and check for dry joints, take a photo with your phone as it will make it easier when relocating the wiring, as regards spending 300 forget it they are prone to pump failure as well

Thanks for the reply. I had a good look at the pub at it looks fine. No sign of overheating, damage, dry joints,etc. Anyway, I’ll just spend an hour, checking for hairline cracks and reflowing all the joints. (It’ll be good practice for me, it’s been years since I soldered...)

Anything else you can suggest, once I’ve it on a bench?
