Garmin Varia RTL510 is down to £100 on amazon. Price seems to be jumping around so you might need to use the camel to catch it.

Any black friday sales on bikes?

Had a look at the CRC/Wiggle offers, everything has been at those prices at some point over the last month or two, in fact one or two things are marginally more expensive.

Yep. I'm not saying tacx are bad but this product is awful. Check out Shane Millers YouTube channel. He comes across the same issue I've been having with all my Flux's. Even the new S model they've released still has a lot of the same issues as the original flux. DC rainmaker did a video on the new Flux S and had issues with it straight away.

Is it just their entry level direct drive or does the neo have the same issues

i know several people with flux's and they are all fine. they had some rubbing issues on the teh flux when ti was first released. this was remedied and the later units were fine. looks like the new one might have the same issue, but the one in halfords looks to be the older model so should be okay

i've a neo and it's been faultless since day 1

Great light but 70euro is its actual price, it is constantly reduced to this across a range of stores, so your not getting a bargain as such but I have used the 400 version for years and it is great. So yes, its worth it if thats what your willing to pay, it is not worth the 120RRP as no one ever charges that.

You can get the leysene 1100 for near enough to that money on sport pursuit, in fact it came with a rere light too for 76 ish euro as a combo set, only got it about 3 weeks ago, super set.

Some nice deals on Fizik road shoes, male and female

    https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/ie/en/fizik-r5b-spd-sl-road-shoes-2018/rp-prod132504

90 quid for the R5B SPD-SL. The quoted weight is actually less than the twice-the-price R4B with the full carbon sole. - They are also on sale but only in very limited sizing.

The Mrs bought a pair over the summer for RRP. Gorgeous shoes. -I've just ordered a pair for myself, though I'm not over-confident that they'll fit...

I like the idea of laces as I've never really been a fan of the boa setup.
Stupid qs, but do you just lace them up like normal shoes?

Yes, I cross lace them rather than have one come up from the bottom with the other zig zagging but I Don't think it makes a difference.

Are they elastic laces? Or is it straight up stand laces with an auld bow?

Straight up lace AFAIK, many track shoes never went to BOA and they were lace up as normal

I'll expand in the sense that it was linked and discussed just a few posts prior to your link. Hence the laughter.

Don't know if this has been posted already but Cycliq are running a 20% Black Friday promotion on their front and rear view cameras. I use these cameras and can honestly say they are top notch. I have been looking at their site over time and this is a genuine reduction.

They come fro Australia and there are no postage costs added on at the end.

    go to cyclic.com
