Likely to be out of stock by then. It's probably a clearout due to the latest model they have. I notice they no longer sell this model on the cycliq website.

You guys have me debating this now :(. I got a GoPro like camera for the bike before but never find myself using it. I guess this form factor would work better and the integrated light would be good. Might re-purpose the other one for a rear facing camera

Edit: Anyone got any recommendation for puncture resistant tyres for a commuter bike? Might as well order them too

Cycle superstore has the Garmin 520 for 169 euro. That's a pretty decent price for a pretty decent unit.

I've an email from them today with no mention.
They had it at that price a while back, I linked it here myself.

My apologies - I didn't notice that it was 'previous deals', rather than 'other deals available now'.

    My mistake entirely!

    Too late

Went on online chat with them and they will apply a refund equating to the 10% retrospecitively, which is nice of them.
    Thanks for the heads up.

Good prices there on 4iiii power meters - single sided at least. 105 for £260ish by my reckoning with that code, Ultegra more impressively about the same price. (mutters to himself repeatedly- no, ignore the little voice in your head, you don't need one)

IQ2 Dual sided power meter only €259. Order now for delivery in November. Also single sided units available for only €159.

Will wait for the gp lama review before even considering it. Q factor would be a concern, even more so for me as I have the dura ace pedals with a 10mm step out.

Getting the pedals without a step out will reduce it to 6mm either side, looked at my own cleats and I can move them 8mm to the side to reduce the issue. The most valid point on Q factors has to be, if you have more than one bike, you probably already have a variable Q factor without even noticing that much.

Rumour has it though that they will be reducing the Q factor in future iterations, for specific brands etc.

    https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2018/04/iq2-149eur-first-power-meter.html

DC rainmaker has a preview. At the price I'm very tempted but think I'll wait.

As you say don't think the q factor is that big of an issue. It does look a bit inelegant though. Dc rainmaker says there plan is to make different spindles for the major pedal manufacturers to reduce the q factor.

given the history of power meters on crowdsourcing sites i'd believe that any aspect of this being a bargain is offset by the risk it never sees the light of day..

plus, surely to be a bargain it has to be cheaper than it usually is?

buyer beware (i see even dc rainmaker is warning about it..)
