Hello all, a friend has asked me advice on gaming pc for their son. I checked on PC World and on the custom build websites...but build your own seems to be a far better deal. I have built 2 before (1 for gaming and 1 for work) but that was almost 2 years ago...so I am a little out of touch with regard to what has come on the market since. ..i.e. both were intel...but AMD now seem to be more popular ?
appreciate any guidance while i make a start on pcpartpicker

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming - Fortnite, Minecraft, Overwatch, Fifa.

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No
    5. Do you need a monitor? Yes
5a. If yes, what size do you need. 24"
5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? [na]
    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No
    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No
    8. How can you pay? Credit Card
    9. When are you purchasing? Within next 2 month
    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? - I have built 2 before..should be ok
