Play store region - change to US

Hi - the Mrs is in the US and wants to download an app (local business) thats only available in the US store. I have googled it and it seems I have to set up a US profile, input a US credit card, select an app, add to cart and exit just before checkout?? See link:…

This seems a bit daft and I also wonder is a US CC is required?

I'm hoping there must be a simpler way?

What is the app called? You can download the APK for all apps from here and install it manually - https://www.apkmirror.com/
