I was tuned in only 2 weeks ago to her radio 1 country show.

She has started out in Irish radio on Radio 2. Never realised she was on Century radio.

One of the few rte radio presenters who have passed away while still broadcasting on the schedule.

She was on Century from day one right up till their abrupt closure and did the same authentic country shows that she had done on RTE. Pretty much a week later she walked back into Montrose to do her same show and was there for the rest of her career.

Very sad when we lose a presenter who was genuinely interested in music....

Really sad to hear that, she had a voice I could listen to all day long. RIP.

I hope RTE keep her country show
Someone with a knowledge and genuine interest in Country music, from one of the local radio stations perhaps?

RIP Sandy. A great broadcaster with a great knowledge of Country music.

I used enjoy her Saturday night show, Country Time, often while in bed and it was very easy relaxed and soothing listening before going to sleep.
