    What's purpose of a rebadge?
To sell beer. Black's rebadged a slew of their range with Star Wars names for May 4th, and another bunch for Halloween. I'm sure they'll keep doing it.

Rocket Ship is gooood though. Hope this doesn't mean a price increase.

3 for 9 in Dunnes atm

That's a good deal, but not as good a deal as the 2.99 750mL bottle of Leffe from Lidl I'm drinking right now :)

    I'm partial to your abracadabra,

I'm raptured by the joy of it all.

Just in O'Briens there, they have Ballast point on offer, the sculpin cans 4 for 10, and bottles of Manta Ray, Moscow Mule & Sour Wench (I think it's called) 3 for 9

Rascals Straight Up Bourbon Stout. Sounded like it could’ve been great. It’s not. Has a kinda sour twang that’s not what you’d expect from a BA Stout.

Founders Barrel Runner is a beautiful IPA aged in rum barrels. Lovely sweet rum initial taste before the hops. Limited edition, I think, so get on it quickly

Speaking of Founders, any sightings of CBS around? No Mountie on the label this year due to copyright issues.

Another one for the collectors alongside the baby breakfast stout

Have to say I wouldn’t normally be a stout man, but I enjoyed this the more I drank it. Nice caramel taste from it.

    Love my imperial stouts.

Where did you pick it up? Local O'Brien's in Athlone has feck all decent Stouts though I did get a few Founder Breakfast stouts a few months ago so at least have a few of them for Christmass. O'Brien's in Lucan wasn't any better a few days ago. May try and get to one of the better Dublin off licences in the next few weeks.

Apologies, I live in The Hague, the Kompaan Imperial is only €2.05 here at the minute, might be worth a trip!!

Was taking it easy last night so had a couple of white hag number 40. The 2.6% table saison with brew by numbers. Taste wise it hit the spot but was a bit over carbonated.

I must say I'm a big fan of Diving Bell, even without the salted caramel flavours. €8.70 a bottle though. -_-

Might get back next year! Was there for an afternoon when we visited Duinrell earlier this year. Had a look in one off license but they didn't have much beyond the usual Belgium beers.

Having an 8° Citra while I watched the match. Couldn't watch the 2nd half live only just finished now. My heart!

I really liked it this year too. Much nicer than the bottled version of the initial release and on par with the initial draught version.

If you plan on coming back next year, give Doorst or Free Beer Company a look, best ones here Off Licence wise.

I really liked Barrel Runner too. It's quite a bit boozier than I was expecting, but it was a nice beer to sip for a while. Been going through a bit of a Founders barrel aged phase at the moment, had this, CBS, Curmudgeon's Better Half and Dankwood all in the space of a few days recently. Of them I loved the first three but Dankwood had a bitter finish that I wasn't overly keen on.

Haven't seen or heard of any here yet this year, but I got some in Baggot Street Wines last year, so might be a good starting point.

Where is 200 fathoms? Anyone try the 8 degrees 12% imperial stout aged in Jameson barrels?

Also this is the best beer in Manchester for anyone coming over. Even Cloudwater are doing cask for the winter now, brown ale was very nice

Yes, it's quite nice. Doesn't taste anything like the strength though has a lovely honey flavour from the whiskey. Their new farmhouse ale, Trespass, is excellent. Both are on tap at The Hill in Ranelagh at the moment.

Wicklow Wolf - Locavore The Top Field Oatmeal Pale Ale

A Pale Ale brewed with hops from their own fields, the “Top Field” in this case. The other beer from this release features hops from the “Bottom Field” which I haven’t tried yet.

Let’s hope the hop return from the Bottom Field yielded more flavoursome hops. I’m struggling to taste any hops from this one. There’s a nice smoothness to the beer, no doubt from the oatmeal, but if a beer is showcasing the hops from the farm I’d like to be able to taste them at least.

Long time lurker but decided it's time to post!!

Paid a visit the Killarney Brewing Company this weekend and would highly recommend a visit if you are holidaying in that direction.

Nice pub and the staff seemed very proud to explain what beers they had on offer. Sampled quite a few(ahem maybe too many!)

I wonder was it past its best. Had it a while back and thought it was a fairly decent beer.

I enjoyed it nice but no where near as good as the regular Torpedo

Just picked up two Leann Folain barrel aged in Supervalue bit pricey I thought at €12.99 it wasn't any where near that price last year was it? Has a €6 off voucher so took the sting out if it a bit.

Any other Imperial or aged stouts around in the shops? Will get 200 fanthoms when it appears and hopefully some Lagunitas Cappuccino stout and Founders CBS

Had it last year and had a similar experience to yourself. Wouldn't be going for it again.

Rascals have a barrel aged stout can available. I've never had anything good from them but bought this to see if my mind can be changed on them.
