Roller or Venetian blinds?

    In general, which is cheaper?
    I think Venetian will offer more privacy, and variety of use, and easier to clean?
    Very torn as to what to pick.

    Venetians are nowadays easier to dust. Rollers are a lot cheaper.

    I just moved house; old house was full of venetians but I had got sick of them so now have rollers everywhere and love them.

    The BIG advantage of venetians is that you can have them a little bit open, giving some light / privacy, whereas rollers are either up or down.

    That I was thinking.
    The 'plantation' blinds seem to be popular now, but I think I'll just get the regular blinds.
