You look to have decent clearance on the ridley for the CX tyres. What size have you on it there?

Also I'm a huge fan of the tyres with the uncoloured/tan(what do even call those? old fashioned?) sidewalls on black bikes.

EDIT: The car isn't bad either.

I have 33 on those wheels, it can take much bigger, but my last ridley x-fire didn't have as much clearance, and it got clogged up a lot.

They call them skin-walls, or tan-walls, but yeah, I agree, they look class, they will have to be maintained though since the cx courses are so muddy in Ireland.

The new commuter, before I run it with raceblades.

Ordered last week, the next day it was reduced by €300 :( Cheekily asked them over live chat if they'd honour the new price, and they did without hesitating.

Lovely bike, lovely saddle, but completely and utterly mismatched.

No one sees the saddle when you are sitting on it. Ride whatever is comfortable.

The collection. Apologies for the messy garage. It’s like a magic porridge pot for crap

I’m not one for the retro bikes, but I couldn’t turn this down. €50! It’s a Raleigh Joop Zoetemelk signature edition. My new daily commuter in Eindhoven. Few bits and pieces to do and she’ll be lovely. I’m naming her Nora.

Best of luck with Nora. I was in Eindhoven a few weeks ago, great city, had a ball. Super cycling infrastructure (no surprise there!)

Rotherdam too, the idea of cycling from one city to another with barely any traffic to worry about (except for build up of bikes in Delft) so chilled

Not everyone's taste but decided to get myself a second bike as I got a Trek roadbike back in 2011 on Bike2Work.

This time I went for very practical, comfortable and something I can just go around town for messages, visit family etc without worrying about getting destroyed. As I really like the dutch designed bikes I got myself a Gazelle Orange C7+
    https://www.gazellebikes.com/en-gb/orange-c7plus-v3

Awful handy with build in lock, lights, mudguards galore, its a pleasure to cycle and very different experience to a road bike, just need to realise you won't break any speed records on it :pac:

I've told the insurance company what I want and part of the settlement includes the return of the bike to me. The wheels are still good, left lever is ruined and rear mech has a bend in it.
With a bit of eBaying I'll have that gruppo on the next bike reasonably cheaply.

I normally don't like logo's and lettering on rims but it works for that Cervello. Lovely bike.

Me neither as they can make a stunning bike look gaudy. The fact that the wheels match the frame is purely coincidental.
