He does what he says he’ll do and he looks after his own people first.

Ours are all too busy cowering to their European overlords..

I intensely dislike him as a person but I saw a long way out that he was likely to succeed because he struck a chord with people who are sick and tired of being lied to and paying through the nose for the pleasure.

Following Leo’s lies and failed promises I’ve begun to think we need a strong right wing leader for a few years. Sort out all the whingers and scroungers..

What we have now isn’t working for a lot of us and that won’t go on forever..

Completely agree.....except I like him as a person.

Plus, he's a narcissistic, misogynistic, racist creep.

Imagine being so racist they give you the Ellis Island award.

Imagine being so racist that the first monument you designate as POTUS is one which honours African American's role in the Civil War.

Imagine being so racist that when you see a black guy save a woman's life you send him $10,000.

It's debatable that is either a billionaire nor a businessman, considering his $200,000,000 inheritance, his many bankruptcies and the American banks refusing to lend to him since the late 1990s leading to him borrowing from Russia and compromising himself and the safety of the citizens of the US.

As a human being, he is abhorrent, childish and hate-filled, which explains the fact that he has not a friend in the world, just a succession of leeches and money-grabbers, including his own family.

Cause and effect. And not racism either.

As some comedian said at the time, a lot of people voted for Obama. So where did all the supposed red-necks racists come from?

    Theyre the same people!

He actually won a smaller share of the popular vote than Mitt Romney.

He’s not the president we wanted, but he’s the president we deserve.

Anyone who can annoy the liberal mob and be successful at it is a gem in my books. The left these days seem to be more concerned about identity politics and creating more pronouns than any meaningful policy.

I think he might make it in America.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

A loathsome human being with absolutely no redeeming qualities. A cancerous stain on humanity.

A politician who actually follows through on what he says. A rare breed. Polling higher than Obama ever did in the lead up to a midterm. You won’t see that reported though.

Separating the children of refugees from parents all good with you? All good as long as a few rich liberals get irked?

    lol

Do you need to be reminded how highly a few European dictators polled?

That's the thing about populism - it can be very popular.

    I used to hate him.
When I heard he was running for president I thought it was a joke.
Then when I saw how much he drove the left insane and the entertainment value in him, I started to like him a bit.

Now I like him more and more as the charade continues and the left just double down on their Trump is a fascist nonsense.

Trumps approval with blacks is 40% or so. Most people vote with their pockets.

I'm particularly enjoying George Takei's daily meltdown. Not a fan of Trump though.

He suppresses scientific knowledge about climate change. He is an anti-vaxxer. He is hostile towards his allies, like the EU, and appeases his adversaries, like Putin. He aggressively lies and spreads misinformation.

All of these have a global impact. Climate change makes me concerned for my son's future. The revival of dormant diseases like TB make me worried for him right now.

All of them are also in line with Russian foreign policy right now (even the anti vaxx movement is being propagated by them). The simplest interpretation is that he is ultimately under the control of Russia.

Pure conspiracy nonsense. For the above to be in any way true Russian banks would have to have been his major source of funding for the best part of 20 years.

I agree it's a reality check when you see his climate change skepticism which is a shame really, but anti vaxxer ?
    is he really ?

Couldn't give a flying **** about him but he seems to be driving the lefty yanks mental so its somewhat entertaining atm.

Its more than the lefty yanks he drives mental. Have a look at the anti-Trump thread in the Politics forum on here.

Dunno why you think that. All sorts of leverage they could have. Pee pee tape is one possibility. There is evidence he has received significant money from them though.

Personally he seems a complete arsehole but I concur, the liberals wetting themselves at every word is hilarious!
