Sorry he stands for a lot more than his views on travellers. He says exactly what all the rest of us are thinking. I’m sick of these fake fu*ckers we’ve had for years in government.

Can you explain then why PC said on LLS that he does not discriminate against travellers? That he does not discriminate against anyone?
Last night he clearly said that the reason he said the travelling community should not have been classed as an ethnic minority was that it did them no good. He didn't want to see them labelled or marganilsed.
He said that he would like to see education opened up to everyone equally because education is key.
There was nothing in his interview last night about him bashing the travellers or 'saying what a lot of us think' unless a lot of people on here feel that travellers are further marganilsed by their ethnic status?
PC also said no to every question he was asked about what welfare benefits he'd cut.
So I don't get how people on here are thinking he's anti traveller or anti welfare state when he's said on TV, that he never discriminated against anybody?
Isn't he even going to Pavee Point now and suggesting making a settlement for a traveller community in the Phoenix Park?

And what would be the cost, in extra manpower & resources, to stop all the illegal & antisocial behaviour of one group ? You expect taxpayers to pay even more.

if needs be to insure the authorities have the resources needed to enforce the law, absolutely.
So why did they want ethnicity?

because they are an ethnic minority.

there is no special treatment for travelers contained within the legislation. i have read it and i'm sure francie has as well.

Travellers absolutely get special housing. Usually confined within their own groups.

and you wanted laws that were specifically favoring travellers ,

here ill post it again for you

any sign of eodr ?, im getting really worried now

this is fake news, nobody called for legislation to specifically favour travelers.
hopefully the next thread has a higher standard of proof
if a poster is going to call a fellow countryman a racist or a bigot or fascist then they should provide proofs

proof was provided. by the person being called such.
any person who attacks a widow or widower in their home, death penalty

not going to happen. the death penalty is gone, not coming back. it failed, and is against human rights.

Pretty sure a persons right to peaceful enjoyment of their home trumps the rights of the bollox who breaks in and beats the ****e out of the owner and proceeds to rob them.

why bother to do that when you can shout fake news at someone.

There’s a buzzword I hope dies very soon.

    READ THE THREAD

No need to shout. I have read the thread and don't feel my speculation has been addressed, that's why I'm asking.

    From the BAI's complaint book:

ii. Harm & undue offence, including law and order
(Section 48(1)(b) of the Broadcasting Act: BAI Code of Programme Standards)
Every broadcaster must ensure that it does not broadcast anything which may
reasonably be regarded as likely to cause harm or undue offence or unreasonably encroach on the privacy of an individual or raise issues of a law and order nature. You are invited to review the BAI Code of Programme Standards when making a complaint about harm and undue offence, including law and order and privacy.

Would threatening a guest on your own chat show count as that?

Could Casey troll the fùck out of the BAI with this?

where did tuberty threaten a guest? there was no threat toards casey from what i saw. the BAI may investigate it but i'd be surprised if there is any result other then it being thrown out.

Its a democracy..if you want to make your voice heard you vote. And people did.
What difference would it have made if they have voted for the other candidates? Not an iota either.
At least voting for Casey sends out a signal that the middle class are tired of being hammered left right and center on taxes while the travelling community get a free ride.
The whole Margaret Cash fiasco really helped his case as well...I doubt he would have gotten half the votes if she hasn't been on all the papers the past few weeks looking for her free house.
When you look at the areas where he got a high portion of the votes its no coincidence its in areas where there's a high population of travellers. I wonder why that is? And its nothing to do with racism.

a vote for casey sends out no signal. or at least not one that either peter casey or any politician will care about. what did send out a signal was the majority voting for other candidates, which said the rhetoric of casey has no place.

one sec while I mute your dumbass posts...

    ah that's better..now I see === === = == = =
makes more sense to me now.

indeed, when challenged and your posts are debunked, run away.
Is that actually a reply to that post you quoted?
If it is then it's one of the poorest on this thread.

tbh i'd have to disagree. i thought it was accurate and to the point if i'm honest.

uhh the majority vote was for Casey and MDH. the other candidates iirc never even topped 3% each.
