Does anyone have experience with ordering from DID electrical?

    Does anyone have experience with ordering from DID electrical? What is delivery like? They say on their website Dublin has next day delivery. Rest of the country within 5 days.

    I ordered a small appliance over the weekend. I know the bank holiday would slow things down. I'm not in Dublin so delivery within 5 days applies and there's no problem as such.

    The appliance I ordered was in stock according to their website. I got an email on the Monday bank holiday to say they are currently sourcing stock from one of their stores to their warehouse to fulfill the order and I will be notified when it's upon dispatched or something.

    I was hoping for a dispatch email to show up in my inbox today but sadly not. I need what I ordered by tomorrow, Thursday at the latest. I do a lot of online shopping and at this stage I suppose I'm just spoiled with the speedy deliveries of many orders from online shopping.

    Thursday isn't within 5 working days (next Monday is) so you were taking a big risk even if they do meet that. I wouldn't even have considered buying online for Wednesday as it's likely that the order wouldn't even start processing until Tuesday
