    Hey everyone,

Looking for some advice. Have a 20 year old Stanley Superstar 60K. It heats half of the rads in the house. Boiler blew over the weekend. Have phoned around all official Stanley Repair centers in the Area (Leinster-Kildare-Carlow-Laois) and the earliest any one of them can come out is 4 weeks from now. Have I any other options other than to wait? Will cost approx 2k to repair. Have considered purchasing a new one but will most likely be facing a similar wait for install.

    Any advice appreciated.

Have you considered doing away with it altogether and installing an oil boiler. It would be much more efficient.

Have you considered replacing it with a bigger cooker like a100k twin burner they are a good cooker and can’t be picked up 2nd hand on done deal for less money than fitting a new boiler
