all of Steve Martin's early films!

    The Man with Two Brains!
    The Jerk
    Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
    Roxanne
    LA Story

The man with two brains is hilarious.

When he uttered the immortal line "but... I can't fúck a gorilla" I nearly puked laughing.

American Pie. If you were a teenager when that came out, it resonated!
I have good time for the sequel and Reunion too.

Always have time to endlessly rewatch The Naked Gun, Anchorman, Scary Movie 2, Hot shots Part Deux, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. We could talk all day about funny films but those are the ones that particularly spring to mind for me, and the ones I sit down to watch for 'just a minute' and end up sitting through the whole thing.

It may not be the funniest movie ever made, but I remember struggling to breathe during parts of Austin Powers: Goldmember in the cinema. That scene where he and mini-me are sneaking on-board the submarine gets me every time.

Not outright comedies but two classies that everyone should see (preferably with a few friends and a lot of cans): For Your Height Only, and The Room.

There was a few memorable lines in the Jerk to,
'I didn't know you could get pizza in a cup.' :D

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

The Big Lebowski, Full Metal Jacket (up to the point where Private Pyle leaves the film), The Guard, In Bruges, Life of Brian are the ones off the top of my head.

Also, most Robin Williams comedies too.

    Old school

Most of Laurel and Hardy’s stuff.

    The Odd Couple
    Planes Trains and Automobiles
    Life of Brian
    Airplane
    The Jerk
    Groundhog Day
    This is Spinal Tap
    Midnight Run
    The Apartment
    In The Loop
    Young Frankenstein
    Dr Strangelove
    Blazing Saddles
    Tootsie
    Annie Hall
Monty Pyton and the Holy Grail
    Clerks
    Harold and Maude

Not one funny moment in any of them but they look good on lists.

    The "Citizen Kane"'s of comedy.

You didn't laugh at The Snapper or Tootsie?

I wouldn't call The Snapper profoundly intelligent either.

The first time I saw "Me, Myself and Irene" at the cinema, I thought I was going to die laughing.

You would be arrested for making a movie like that today but at the time, comedy gold!!
