Ppl are just sick and tired of the govt pandering to the every whim of absolute scumbags and lazy bastards and of course the “holier than thou” travellers.

Sorry for hurting your feelings with the truth about your hero :pac:

The man has a house in Donegal which he lives in for part of the year.

Has businesses here. Takes money out of the country.

Just makes sure he gets out for enough days so that he doesn't have to contribute to the costs of running the country. Then has the cheek to run for President.

I think cunt is a fitting description

    Loving the username.
And how many Boardsies who would have the opportunity would do the exact same for themselves?

    This too shall pass.

These are features of country tax systems for the rich to avail of.

    Not new.

Same argument could be used to "justify" how many people play the system to get dole and benefits and free houses....................

I hear he did a good job in encouraging the Travelling community to exercise their right to vote, though.

He's a green card holder Donnie, you would think you'd know how your own tax system works man.

    Also.

Love how the tax exile millionaire has become the hero of the down trodden taxpayer.

He made me almost 550€ via paddy power.

The man can do no wrong in my eyes.

Gonna donate the cash to Pavee Point later.

    Everyone's a winner baby that's no lie.

That none of the so called Dragons was willing to open their books probably indicates some fear of what would be seen and how it would look to the ordinary Joe's who they claim to represent.

The cheek of him, complaining about people on welfare, how about you contribute to the welfare burden, like the rest of us Peter.

I suppose you could just argue that he plays the system to his advantage.

If he wasn't as internationally mobile, he'd probably just have to settle for a free house and free dole every week :pac:

People had said it. But it was the first time I heard him personally bragging about it. And how much he paid to the US medicaid system. This was part of a conversation where he blustered about about people on trolleys and the Irish health system being underfunded :)

I'm generally suspicious of wealthy businessmen that want to take their country out of the EU. The most obvious benefit for them is the erosion of worker's rights and the removal of regulations that keep consumers safe.

Glad he didn't win. He's not worthy of the role of President.

    Casey’s traveller comments recap

He disagrees with them being recognized as a ethnic minority.

Says they avoid tax and that house prices drop when travelers move onto an area.

Says they camp on other ppl’s land.

Says the Tipperary situation with travelers demanding stables with their new houses is ridiculous.

    Quote:

He cited an ongoing dispute in Tipperary where six new homes are lying empty in a €1.7m development because families living on an unauthorised site nearby are refusing to move in until they get stables for horses.

“I mean how ridiculous have we become as a society where they are turning down beautiful, four-bedroom houses because there’ll blackmailing the county council into giving them stables for their horses.

“I’m sorry, there’s something seriously wrong with society when we’re at that stage,” Mr Casey said.

    Nothing overly controversial there.

He played the game and won.
Those who voted for him who think he's articulated what they are really feeling have been had in my opinion - he's the most inarticulate of all the candidates.
One of his previous interviews before his controversial comments was a bumbling mess.

He's stirred the pot and ran away with the honey.

    Do you have something wrong?
I have read this post about ten times in different threads over the last 30 minutes.

Well there's a starting point for a reconciliation of something in common :pac:
