People should actually should complain about Mc Cullagh's moderating, it's absolutely dreadful and well below the standards you would expect from the National Broadcaster...

I'd probably agree except for one key point..... It's RTE

I don’t remember him initiating any discussion over the last 7 years.

Pat Kenny is the absolute master of these type debates. Nobody on Irish Telly comes close.

McCullough is woeful. Pat the plank is miles ahead

MDH keeps going on about his "political life". He does some amount of waffling.

McCullagh has given Micheal D an awful easy time. Hasn’t pushed him on anything.

Gemma O'Doherty might have been entertaining in these debates.

I wouldn't want her anywhere near elected office, though.

Both have been awful in these debates. Kenny was just as biased, insulting and facilitating evasion for their favourite candidates

MDH will be 84 in 7 years, you have to go back to Dev, almost blind, in his early 90s, for such an elderly President.

He's the best candidate but will be an old man. I know comparisons will be made with the Pope and the Queen. But at the end of the day he's an old man. When most of us retire at 65.

The majority of the electorate has an even higher opinion of him. As we'll see this weekend. :)

One of the things I'm most looking forward to after Friday is never hearing the phrase "cosy consensus" again.
