Any rules about bus stops for private hire regular bus services?

Hi folks

Are there any rules about where private hire bus services, like a regular school pick up/drop off bus organised by the school or parents group, can pick up or drop off their passengers?

I've noticed a couple of cases of these buses picking up passengers at places that result in other traffic building up behind them. There is no real room for other traffic to pass.

Are there any rules or NTA regulations about where they can do their pickups?

Unless it's a scheduled public service, which it isn't, the only regs would be the same as applies to any other vehicle as per the RTA ; Where it's safe and legal.
