Short term car insurance

Hi all. Anyone know how i'd go about getting short term car insurance for about 5 weeks. I'm visiting home from Aus for 5 weeks. Have a car available with tax and NCT but need to insure. Thanks

Buy the annual policy, and cancel within 14 days.
Repeat 2 times with different company.

That will give you 6 weeks.

A non-resident is unlikely to get one policy, let alone 3. Add in to that the problems with NCB and possibly licence

I’m only gone since Jan so my ncb is still active so shouldn’t be a problem. Pity you can’t just get short term cover
