    What shares / funds would you recommend if I wish to track Irish housing market with the intension of buying a new property in a number of years. I am using DeGiro.

    There is nothing and I’m recommend not to be so dam foolish as to try! If the investment horizon is at least five years and objective is to maximize wealth with a view to having a sizable deposit to put towards the purchase of a house then a well balanced portfolio represent the best return at a reasonable risk level. Anything else then cash is the best option.
